Barcelona star Arda Turan shared a picture on his official Twitter account of himself alongside Gerrard Pique and New England Patriots star Rob Gronkowski.
The picture was pretty standard, Gronkowski poses with a Barcelona shirt that has his name printed on the back.

What stood out was Turan’s message: “You are too big for soccer but you are a real “big” champion.”

We are not quite sure what Turan actually meant and feel he probably could do with a few more English lessons.
He appears to think that Gronkowski is too big for football and standing in at 1.98m he is pretty tall but it is not like there aren’t tall footballers.
Gronkowski may tower over Turan who stands in at 1.75m but the NFL star is only four centimetres taller than Pique who is in the same picture.
There are several examples of taller footballers. Take for example Peter Crouch is over 2 metres tall and managed to carve out a successful career in the Premier League and as an England international.
