Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan has revealed how his side overcame Huddersfield over the weekend.

The Citizens had to come from behind to defeat Huddersfield by a 2-1 scoreline on Sunday.

Gundogan has put City’s win down to patience and persistence.

The 26-year-old shared a photo of his teammates celebrating on social media along with the following caption, “Incredibly tough game against a very disciplined opponent. But we stayed patient and kept on pressing. We can be proud that we turned this game around.”
