Mesut Ozil started for Germany against Norway in the opening round of the 2018 World Cup qualification games.
Germany ended up winning the game 3-0 to move into first place in Group C.
Ozil has now returned to Arsenal and decided to share a picture of himself via his official Twitter account alongside summer signing Shkodran Mustafi.
The Arsenal playmaker claimed he brought Mustafi back with him from the Germany national team as part of his twitter joke.
After @DFB_Team, back at @Arsenal … and look who I took along with me ???? #YaGunnersYa @MustafiOfficial pic.twitter.com/t1TfJLKwaB

Mustafi did not start or feature against Norway on Saturday but was included on the bench.
Arsenal have three Germany international players in Ozil, Mustafi and Per Mertesacker.
Ozil did however, have the option to also play for Turkey at international level due to being an ethnic Turk.
Mustafi meanwhile could have opted for Albania due to his ethnic roots. Granit Xhaka and Mustafi are both of Albanian origin but were born in Switzerland and Germany, respectively. Xhaka represents Switzerland at international level.
