Manchester City crushed Arsenal 3-0 in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley Stadium on Sunday.
Ilkay Gundogan started the clash, putting on a hard-working display in midfield and pulling off an assist – probably unintentially – for Vincent Kompany.
The midfielder of Turkish origin was full of praise in his post-match reaction, sharing a dressing room selfie celebrating with the team alongside the caption: ‘The boys in blue will never give in.’

We suspect the tweet had something to do with this tweet he issued after the FA Cup exit to Wigan last week.
We won together, now we lost together.
It’s time to show that we are able to come back from a painful loss.
The next challenge is waiting already! #ComeOnCity— Ilkay Gündogan (@IlkayGuendogan) February 20, 2018
