Arsenal held Tottenham to a 2-2 draw in the north London derby at White Hart Lane despite going down to 10 men.
Mesut Ozil started against Spurs and thanked the Gunners fans for their away support over the course of the 90 minutes.
Ozil shared a picture from the game alongside the following caption: “2:2 at White Hart Lane! Hard-earned draw with ten men … Thanks for your away support today, Gooners! #COYG #THFCvAFC #BPL #ACE16”
Ozil did not score or add to his 18 assists and despite having created the most chances this season (115) he did not create a single chance for his side against Spurs.
The World Cup winner has been in great form for the north London based side and won the Vitality Player of the Month award for the fourth time this season for the Gunners last week.
The draw saw Arsenal remain in third place three points behind second placed Tottenham Hotspur and five behind Leicester City.
