Arda Turan has described joining Barcelona as being similar to going back to school. The Turkish international star revealed playing for Barca comes with a learning curve.
Turan described the club as being like no other and revealed that he is still learning something new every day despite being at ht club for six-months.
The bearded winger underlined that he is enjoying his studies and that he has been a studious pupil.
Turan told Mundo Deportivo in a recent interview: “You must understand that Barca is a school, the world has a game and Barca have another. Every day I am learning the style we play, improving, sharing with them, I’m at ease and continue like this. I accept the style and get join me as one more piece of this team.”
Turan previously played for Turkish giants Galatasaray and 2014 La Liga champions Atletico Madrid before his move to Barcelona.
The 29-year-old does appear to be excelling with his homework as Barca have won all 12 games he has featured in since making his debut against Espanyol in January.
The summer signing has three assists in all competitions for the reigning La Liga champions this season.
Turan did have to wait six-months to even make his debut due to the FIFA transfer ban imposed on the club but has managed to find regular playing time since breaking into the team.
