Premier League club agree fee with Arsenal for star defender Kieran Gibbs, Turkish giants also in race
Premier League side Watford FC are closing in on Arsenal left-back Kieran Gibbs.
According to SkySports, the Hornets have agreed a transfer fee with the Gunners for the 27-year-old. Per the source, Gibbs’ is keen to play under Marco Silva at Vicarage Road.
Turkish giants Galatasaray have also been linked with Gibbs over the past week.
The Istanbul based club have held talks with the Arsenal left-back. However, Juventus’s Kwadwo Asamoah is their first choice this summer.

Gibbs’ is expected to leave Arsenal this summer. The England international’s has fallen out of favour with manager Arsene Wenger and his contract with Arsenal expires in under 12-months.
The 27-year-old appears to be Arsenal’s third-choice left back behind Nacho Monreal and Sead Kolasinac. Gibbs made just 11 Premier League appearances for the north London-based club last season.
