Quincy Promes has replaced an injured Arjen Robben in the Netherlands national team for the forthcoming internationals against Turkey and Spain.

Robben suffered an injury during Sunday’s Bundesliga match between Bayern Munich against Borussia Monchengladbach.

The 31-year-old was substituted off after 24 minutes with a torn stomach muscle and is expected to be sidelined for several weeks.

Promes was not part of the 24-man squad Hiddink announced last Friday. He debuted for the Dutch team last year and so far he played three internationals.
