Mesut Ozil will not be moving to the La Liga giants Real Madrid anytime soon according to the Spanish football journalist Guillem Balague.
Why speaking on Sky Sport’s La Liga Rivista show, Balague answered a question asking whether Madrid have a buy-back clause in Ozil’s contract and if they would re-sign him.
“They can match whatever other teams pay for him and take him. But they will not. His Real Madrid era is gone,” Balague said.

Ozil joined Arsenal from Real Madid for a club record £42.5 million back in September 2013.
However according to a recent leak, there is clause in place which stipulates that Arsenal must offer Madrid outfit first refusal on the player, should a rival Spanish side make a move for his services.
Arsenal missed out on topping the Premier League table after suffering a 1-0 loss against Chelsea in the London derby last weekend.
Mesut Ozil’s 100th game for the north London based club ended in a disappointing defeat. Arsenal have now slipped down to third place and are just two points ahead of their bitter rivals Tottenham.
