Samed Yesil featured in Liverpool u21’s 4-4 draw with Norwich City u21. The former Bayer Leverkusen man played 65 minutes of the game tonight.
Liverpool U21 took the lead in the 20th minute following a goal from Williams. Ryan Kent and Brannagan followed up with goals in the 27th and 35th minute to give the Red’s a 3-0 lead going into the break.
Norwich turned the game on its head in the second half scoring three goals in ten minutes bringing the score to 3-3 in the 69th minute.
Ojo looked to give Liverpool the win after finding the back of the net in the 76th minute but for a late equaliser from Murphy in the 81st minute.
Samed Yesil posted an image on Instagram following the game along with the caption, “Happy to play 65minutes Tonight for The Team, Shame about The result though.”

The former Leverkusen striker only recently recovered from a double cruciate ligament injury that has seen him spend most of the season on the sidelines.
