Sergen Yalçın is on the verge of replacing Roberto Carlos as Sivasspor manager.
The former Gaziantepspor coach is currently a football pundit on Turkish state television channel TRT.
“I had a meeting with the club president and we have agreed terms,” Yalçın said.
“I am currently in talks with the television station over my contract.
“We are sorting out the contract and going over the details.
“Once everything is sorted I will join the club and hopefully get Sivasspor back on track and into a more respectable position.”
Sivasspor are currently 17th in the Süper Lig on 10 points after 14 weeks.
Yalçın is a former Turkish international with limited coaching experience. The former Beşiktaş star managed Gaziantepspor for a brief spell last season.
Sivasspor are expected to release an official statement confirming the appointment of Yalçın over the next few days.
