AC Milan have not given up hopes of signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic according to the club CEO Adriano Galliani.
The Rossoneri’s newly appointed manager Sinisa Mihajlovic yesterday admitted that he would welcome the arrival of the Swedish international striker.
“Zlatan has a contract for another year with PSG, but we will see. The window still has a long way to go. Let’s see what happens,” AC Milan CEO Galliani was quoted as saying by Goal.
When asked whether Milan would make a bid for the 33-year-old Galliani said, “We’ll see.”
Galatasaray have also been linked with the former Barcelona striker. The Lion’s are looking to make a marquee signing this summer after their rivals Fenerbahce landed both Luis Nani and Robin van Persie.
Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal is also keen on signing the 33-year-old according to the Express newspaper.
Ibrahimovic provided eight assists and scored 30 goals in 37 appearances for PSG last season. The experienced striker has previously played for AC Milan, Inter Milan, Juventus, Barcelona and Ajax.
Galatasaray won the league title for a record 20th time last season and booked a place in the Champions League group stages for the fourth consecutive season.
