Sevilla midfielder M'bia completes Trabzonspor transfer

Trabzonspor have completed the transfer of Sevilla midfielder Stephan M’bia on a three-year deal.

The Cameroon international was unveiled in an official signing ceremony held at the Trabzonspor headquarters. M’bia was joined by sporting director Süleyman Hurma at the signing ceremony.

The 29-year-old spent his early career in France, representing Ligue 1 giants Rennes and Marseille. M’bis also enjoyed a stint in the Premier League when he joined QPR in the summer of 2012 before heading to Spain to play for Sevilla.

M’bia joined Sevilla on a free transfer at the start of the season on a one-year deal.

The Cameroon star featured in the La Liga sides successful league and cup campaign. The experienced midfielder starred in the Spanish sides Europea League final victory over Dnipro last month.

M’bia made two assists and scored seven goals in 34 appearances in all competitions for Sevilla last season.

Trabzonspor parted ways with manager Ersun Yanal yesterday and are expected to replace him Shota Arveladze.
