Shakhtar v Man City Confirmed lineups – Guardiola rotates squad, Foden starts
Manchester City have travelled to the Ukraine to take on Shakhtar Donetsk in their final Champions League group stage game.
Pep Guardiola’s side have having already secured top spot after recording five wins in five games.
The Spanish tactician has decided to shuffle his deck with the Manchester derby on the horizon.
City will be without star duo Kevin De Bruyne – due to a suspension – and David Silva.
Guardiola has included star playmaker Ilkay Gundogan in his starting lineup. The 26-year-old has seen his playing time gradually increase after recovering from a lengthy knee injury in September.
Guardiola has decided to include Under-17 World Cup winner Phil Foden, fellow England youth international Tosin Adarabioyo and Spanish forward Brahim Diaz in the travelling squad. Both Foden and Adarabioyo start for the Citizens tonight.
