Sinan Gumus opts to play for the Turkish national team

Galatasaray’s young winger Sinan Gumus has opted to represent the Turkish national team according to the Turkish newspaper Milliyet. Gumus was born in Germany to Turkish parents and is eligible to represent Germany and Turkey at international level.
According to the report, Turkish national team manager Fatih Terim and the U21 national team manager Abdullah Ercan have met with Gumus and convinced him to play for the Ay Yildizlilar.
The 21-year-old who joined Galatasaray from Stuttgart at the start of the seasons has three Germany U20 international caps. Gumus impressed Hamza Hamzaoglu with his performances in the Galatasaray U21 side and has broken into the first team in recent weeks.
