Sivasspor manager Sergen Yalçın was delighted with his sides performance following the 2-0 win over Karabükspor.
“Our tactics were spot on today,” Yalçın said.
“We played a clever game and created a number of dangerous positions against a side that is very tough to beat.
“Karabükspor were also very good and I wish them all the best in the future.
“We are delighted with the victory and I want to thank our fans for turning out today.
“We will go into the second half of the season in high spirits, it was a huge morale boost for lots of our players.
“Everybody needs to unite together, we need the fans and players to all be one.
“The second half of the season is not going to be easy but we will get through it as long as we all remain together.
“The boys need the fans, they will really help us going forwards.”
The win was Sivasspor’s first in their last six games but was not enough to see the Yiğidolar escape the relegation zone.
Sivasspor remain in 17th place on 14 points going into the winter break.
