Southampton v Liverpool – Probable starting line-up’s – Emre Can to start

Liverpool take on Southhampton today in the Premier League as the Reds look chase down a Champions League spot.

Liverpool currently sit in 7th place with 42 points in 25 games but can move into 6th place with a victory today.

Emre Can is expected to start in defence for Liverpool once again. The 21-year-old will start on the right side of a three man defence alongside Skrtel and Sakho.

The Germany U21 international has played the majority of his games ain defence despite being signed as a midfielder from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer

The Germany U21 international has one goal and one assist in 24 appearances for Liverpool in all competitions this season.
