Turkish sports newspaper AMK reported that Turan has been transfer listed.
The report claims that Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde and club director Albert Soler held a meeting to decide the summer transfer policy.
Following the meeting it was decided that Barca are prepared to sell the 30-year-old.
Turan does have another three-years remaining on his contract but Valverde does not seem to have plans for the attacking midfielder next season.
The former Turkish international has won league titles at every club he has been transferred to – Galatasaray, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.
The 30-year-old has won every domestic title in Turkey and Spain, as well as every European trophy except the Champions League.
Turan scored 13 times and provided seven assists in all competitions last season.
