Osmanlıspor 4-0 Sivasspor

The surprise of the week was Antalyaspor crushing league leaders Fenerbahçe at home. Samuel Eto’o put on a footballing masterclass scoring, providing an assist and captaining his side against the Yellow Canaries. Fenerbahçe were dealt a further blow when Mehmet Topal and Josef de Souza picked up a yellow card suspension for next weeks game. Bursaspor 3-3 Başakşehir
Başakşehir are renowned for their defence but all that flew out the window in their six goal thriller against Bursaspor. The Hamza Hamzaoğlu revolution is in full swing as Green Crocodiles stretched their unbeaten run to four games – they will however, be without Necid who was sent off. Başakşehir meanwhile continue pushing for a European spot. The Istanbul minnows are joint third alongside Galatasaray and Kasımpaşa on 34 points.
Galatasaray 0-0 Konyaspor
The reigning champions season is going from bad to worse. The Lions dropped points again this week drawing against Konyaspor. Galatasaray also sold star striker Burak Yılmaz to Beijing Goaon which was followed by striker Sinan Gümüş picking up an injury and there was yet further misery following news that Lukas Podolski will also be sidelined next week.

Akhisar 2-1 Trabzonspor

Akhisar meanwhile continue to punch above their weight on a shoestring budget. The Akigolar are now currently just one point off joint third placed Galatasaray, Başakşehir and Kasımpaşa.
Beşiktaş 4-0 Gaziantepspor
Beşiktaş missed their last two league games due to both matches being abandoned as a result of heavy snow. The Black Eagles returned to the league with a bang and wiped the floor with Gaziantepspor. Beşiktaş stars Özyakup and Töre both scored while in-form striker Mario Gomez bagged a brace to take his goal tally in the league to 15 making him the current goal king. Kasımpaşa 0-1 Gençlerbirliği
Gençlerbirliği appointed their fifht – yes fifth – manager a fortnight ago bringing in former Beşiktaş legend Ibrahim Üzülmez as head coach. Üzülmez which means – one who never gets sad – was nicknamed Crazy Ibo during his playing days and have to be a tad mad to take on the role but three games in the Ankara based side have three victories under their belt.
