Taiwo – ‘I don’t have any issues with Keshi’

Bursaspor defender Taye Taiwo has denied having a problem with Nigeria national team manager Stepehn Keshi.
Taiwo has been left out of the Nigerian national team setup since the appointment of Keshi.
“At Dynamo Kiev, I called to congratulate him on his appointment and expressed my willingness to be a part of his team,” Taiwo was quoted as saying by AllAfrica.
“He assured me all would be well but till date, he never deemed it fit to send me an invite to the national team.
“He would not pick my calls and I kept wondering what was wrong.
“Anyway, I still respect him and I can tell you that I don’t have any issues with him, his assistants and those at the Nigeria Football Federation.”
The 29-year-old defender has 53 caps for the Super Eagles but has not played under the current national team coach.
