“The combination will be deadly” – Arsenal fans take to social media to react to Mesut Ozil and Lacazette partnership
Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil played alongside his sides latest signing Alexandre Lacazette for the first time on Wednesday.
The pair played the opening 45 minutes and provided Arsenal fans with their first glimpse of the Gunners new-look attack
Arsenal recorded a win over Bayern Munich following a penalty shoot-out.
Both Ozil and Lacazette looked sharp and the pair seem to already have a telepathic understanding on the field.
As shown in the short clip below, Ozil managed to find Lacazette with a pin-point pass.

Lacazette scored an incredible 28 goals in 30 Ligue 1 appearances for Lyon last season.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger withdrew both Ozil and Lacazette at half time. Gunners fans swiftly took to social media after to wax lyrical about the duo’s performance.

Arsenal take on their Premier League rivals Chelsea in Beijing at the Birdnest stadium on Saturday as they continue their pre-season tour of China.
The Gunners will face Benfica on July 29 and Sevilla the day after.
