‘They will have miles too much for Arsenal’ – Paul Merson revealed Liverpool v Arsenal prediction
Former Arsenal midfielder Paul Merson has revealed his prediction for the Gunners clash with Liverpool today.
The encounter takes place at Anfield with kick-off is scheduled for 16:00 (GMT).
Merson believes his former side will struggle to cope with Liverpool’s attack today. The SkySport’s pundit recorded a 3-1 victory over his former side.
“I’ve got to go for Liverpool here. They will suffocate Arsenal’s attack and exploit their poor, poor defence,” Merson told SkySports.
“If the Gunners continue to play three at the back, it will play into the hands of Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino.
“Yes, Liverpool always concede but, going forward, they will have miles too much for this current Arsenal side.”

Emre Can played a starring role for Liverpool on Wednesday night with a brace against Hoffenheim. The 23-year-old suffered a minor injury during the week but is expected to start.
Meanwhile, Mesut Ozil has endured a difficult week at Arsenal. The 28-year-old was harshly criticised following the Gunners 1-0 defeat at the hands of Stoke City last weekend.
The World Cup winner is in line to start tonight as is Chile international Alexis Sanchez who has recovered from an abdominal injury.
