Gomez is no stranger to success or the pressure of playing at a big club. The 30-year-old flourished at Bayern Munich has played at the highest international level with Germany and has dealt with the sometimes overbearing pressure of Turkish football remarkably well. The prolific forward is well equipped at dealing with the expectations at a big club and has traditionally responded well to playing at clubs with high aspirations.
