Tottenham hold talks with Euro giants over €20m Champions League star in London, Newcastle also interested
Tottenham have stepped up their interest in the Turkey international star striker Cenk Tosun.
The 26-year-old has been linked with a move away from Besiktas following an impressive run of form for club and country. Cenk has scored ten goals in 15 appearances for Besiktas, including four goals in the UEFA Champions League.
Crystal Palace came close to signing the striker on transfer deadline day but were unable to get the deal across the line in time.
According to the Turkish outlet Haberturk, Besiktas president Fikret Orman and club official Ali Naibi have held transfer talks with both Tottenham and Newcastle United representatives in London this week.

Per the source, Besiktas are unwilling to consider any offers below €20 million for their star man.
Cenk Tosun netted 26 goals for the Istanbul giants last season. Besiktas currently sit third in the Turkish league, five points behind leaders Galatasaray.
