Galatasaray’s star goal keeper Fernando Muslera has stated that he is not looking for a move away from the Istanbul Giants.
According to the Turkish Super Lig broadcaster LigTV, Muslera is happy with his life in Istanbul and wants to remain at Galatasaray for the foreseeable future.
Lig TV go onto state that Tottenham have expressed an interest in the Uruguay international however. Galatasaray have no intention of selling their star asset despite a financial crisis which has seen them suspended from playing in European competition.
Muslera was also linked with a move to Manchester Untied over the summer before David de Gea signed a contract extension.
The 29-year-old played a key role in Galatasaray winning the league for a record 20th time last season and earning the right to wear a fourth star – Galatasaray also won the double for a record sixth time.
Muslera has won a total of 77 international caps for Uruguay.
