Trabzonspor have confirmed that talks with former Algeria manager Vahid Halilhodzic are underway.
The Black Sea based side released a statement to the Istanbul stock exchange that reads, “Trabzonspor have begun talks with the Bosnian manager Vahid Halilhodzic.”
Trabzonspor also confirmed via twitter that terms have been agreed with Halilhodzic and that the Bosnian will arrive in Istanbul at 17:20 GMT.
The 61-year-old experienced manager led Algeria to the last 16 of the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
Halilhodzic has previously managed Paris Saint-Germain, Dinamo Zagreb and the Ivory Coast.
