The former Fenerbahce forward Tuncay Sanli has scored a stunning free-kick in Umm-Salal’s defeat against Al Sadd.

Umm Salal lost the game 4-1 against Al Sadd with Tuncay’s goal coming in the 84th minute of the game. Salal are managed by the former Eskisehirspor and Sivasspor manager Bulent Uygun.

Tuncay scored 59 goals in 154 appearances for Fenerbahce and has 22 goals in 80 Turkish international appearances.

The 33-year-old moved to the Qatar based side July 2014 after his contract with Bursaspor ran out.

The Turkish international has previously played for Bursaspor, Wolfsburg, Bolton, Stoke City, Middlesbrough, Fenerbahce and Sakaryaspor.

Tuncay has scored two goals in ten appearances for Umm Salal this season in the Stars League.

Umm Salal currently sit in 5th place with 26 points in 17 games. Salal are 14 points off the leaders Al Sadd.
