Calhanoglu had a bit of a howler. After a pretty average display he then went and got himself sent off in the 2-0 home defeat against Roma.

Caglar Soyuncu

Soyuncu continues to go from strength to strength in the Bundesliga. The 21-year-old scored his first goal of the season in Freiburg’s 3-2 win over Hoffenheim. The powerful centre-back was a constant threat from set pieces. The Turkish international also put in a defensive shift making two tackles, two interception and blocked the highest number of shots (3).

Ilkay Gundogan

Gundogan returned to Premier League football in the 1-0 victory over Chelsea after his latest injury setback. The midfielder of Turkish origin made a brief appearance in the last 10 minutes.

Emre Mor

Mor has been working his way into the team over recent weeks. The 19-year-old did not start but did play the last 20 minutes. The Turkish international did not put on particularly memorable display and made just one pass.

Emre Colak

Colak started in Deportivo La Coruna’s 2-1 win over Getafe in the La Liga. The Turkish international did not put on a memorable display and his passing was poor. The 26-year-old made 30 passes at a 70 percent accuracy.
