Turan has been in impressive form for Barcelona during the pre-season after cutting his holiday short to join the training camp early.
The Turkish international struggled in his first season after making a £34 million move to Barcelona from Atletico Madrid. Turan didn’t make his debut for his first six months at due to a transfer ban imposed on the club by UEFA.
Turan went onto have a poor Euro 2016 tournament with the Turkish national team. The flamboyant midfielder was heavily criticised after Turkey were eliminated in the group stages.
However, Barcelona boss Luis Enrique hasn’t given up on the Turkey international and is expected to give Turan a new role on the wing this season.
