Besiktas beat Genclerbirligi 3-0 to move five points clear of second placed Basaksehir at the top of the Turkish league table on Sunday 2 April.

Former Arsenal youth Oguzhan Ozyakup scored the opening goal for the Black Eagles.

Anderson Talisca and Ryan Babel converted in the second half to give the Istanbul giants a convincing victory at the Vodafone Arena.

The Daily Star reported that Ozyakup is a Tottenham target and that Spurs are plotting an end of season move for the Turkish international.

Spurs could face competition from Arsenal who have been scouting the 24-year-old midfielder.

A source close to Besiktas, revealed to Turkish-Football that Arsenal have been scouting Ozyakup and that the Eagles want at least €30 million for their star man.

Ozyakup will have just 12 months remaining on his contract at the end of the season but Besiktas will offer him a new deal with a €30 million release clause, reflecting their valuation.
