A Turkish football fan received a kung-fu kick to the head for attempting to injure a referee in the Turkish League today.
The incident took place during a clash between Karabukspor and Elazigspor.
The match was subsequently interrupted after several supporters invaded the pitch. One of the home fans attempted to throw an object at the referee.
Running to the referee’s defence was an Elazigspor player who decided to deliver a kung-fu kick straight to the head of the invading fan.

The incident comes a week after a referee was attacked during Fenerbahce’s clash with Trabzonspor in the Super Lig.
The game between Trabzonspor and Fenerbahce was abandoned after a Trabzonspor fan assaulted the assistant referee Volkan Bayarslan.
The game was immediately called off with both sets of players and officials running off the field.
