‘We should sell him. He’s not interested any more’ – Arsenal fans destroy star player following Man City defeat
Arsenal suffered a 3-1 defeat at the Etihad against league leaders Manchester City.
Kevin de Bruyne opened the scoring for City, Sergio Aguero and Jesus also netted for the home side.
Alexandre Lacazette scored for the Gunners but it proved to be little more than a consolation goal.
Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil started but failed to add to his goal or assist tally, in fact he did not create a single chance.
We took a look at how Arsenal fans reacted to Ozil’s display against the Citizens on social media.

Ozil’s mini honeymoon appears to be over, looks like it is back to getting roasted.
Arsenal played against (Man City + officials + Alexis + Ozil). We had no chance.

Harsh?
Kevin De Bruyne delivering another MOTM performance. Ozil’s best contribution has been kicking the ball away and a yellow card.

Ozil and Sanchez are being accused of not caring anymore.
I was Ozil’s biggest fan, but we should sell him. He’s not interested any more. #afc

Full time observations:
– KDB is very good
– Ozil and Sanchez can’t be arsed
– Arsenal score more goals with a £50m striker actually on

Said it before, but if you broke into Ozil’s house, told him it was yours & he had to live on the streets, he’d just shrug & walk out.

Does Wenger share some of the blame? he did not start with the AOL – Ozil, Alexis and Lacazette – who had been in impressive form over the past few games.
Even Guardiola is confused right now. He spent the entire week planning how to neutralize the Alexis, Ozil Lacazette threat. Not Coquelin ??

Does Ozil have a future at Arsenal?
Signing Ozil was fun, huge moment, made us believe we could compete, won us trophies, but I’ve no interest in watching him play for us again.

Even the stats were against him…
Mesut Ozil failed to create a single chance against Man City. He also failed with all three of his crosses and completed just one take-on. pic.twitter.com/BUhABuqFdT

Kevin De Bruyne completed more take-ons (5) than Sanchez, Ozil and Ramsey combined (4). pic.twitter.com/98wUjeN0wu

Is Ozil being scapegoated?
Seeing loads of ozil tweets again but not many Alexis tweets. Ozil wasn’t great but Alexis was poor

The same accusations of Ozil not being a big name player are back.
You don’t see Ozil in big games, you only see him during Crystal Palace and Burnley.
— Doctor YazzY Olu (@Dr_Yazzy) November 5, 2017
Ozil is actually so average in big games it’s unreal ??
