Norwich City & West Brom target Yuto Nagatomo open to Turkey move

Inter Milan full-back Yuto Nagatomo is open to a move to Galatasaray according to his agent Roberto Tukuda.

The Japanese international has been linked with a move to the Lions as part of an exchange deal for Felipe Melo.

“Galatasaray is a distinct possibility for Yuto,” Tukuda told FCInterNews.

“Turkey is a destination he’d like. In fact, I’d say at the moment that’s the only real solution for him. There aren’t any other concrete options that we’re considering.

“Melo? Yes, it’s possible he could be included as part of the same deal. We could have news in the next week.”

Galatasaray have been on the hunt for a new right-back following a string of disappointing displays from Tarik Camdal who joined last summer.

Four Four two state that the newly promoted side Norwich City are also in the race to sign the 28-year-old. Nagatomo has also been linked with a move to West Brom by Talk Sport.

The Japanese international has fallen out of favour with Inter manager Roberto Mancini and is expected to depart Milan this summer.

Nagatomo provided two assists in 18 appearances for Inter Milan in all competitions last season. The 28-year-old has previously played for Cesena and FC Tokyo.

The experienced defender also features in the 2010 and 2014 world cups for the Japanese national team.
