Turkish newspaper Fanatik reported that West Ham are preparing a €7 million bid for the Turkish midfielder.

West Ham boss Slaven Bilic was manager of Beşiktaş when Arslan was signed last January from HSV for just €500,000.

There were rumours at the time that Bilic convinced Arslan to join with the promise that he would bring him to the Premier League should he take charge of a team in England.

The 24-year-old scored against Liverpool in the Europa League Round of 32 clash against Liverpool.

Bilic resigned from his position as Beşiktaş manager at the end of the season after failing to win the league title and replaced Sam Allardyce at West Ham.

Arslan – who has three years remaining on his contract – made 16 Turkish Super Lig appearances since joining the Black Eagles.
