“What could have been” – Arsenal fans react to summer target Julian Draxler link up with Ozil
Mesut Ozil was in scintillating form during the week while on international duty for Germany.
The 28-year-old playmaker provided the assist for the German’s opener against the Czech Republic last week.
Ozil followed up with a goal and assist during Germany’s 6-0 win over Norway on Monday.
One major factor which caught the attention of Arsenal fans was Ozil’s partnership with Julian Draxler.
Seeing the pair work so well together has irked Gunners supports. Draxler was on the Arsenal’s radar this summer as a potential transfer target.

Arsenal fans will be hoping Ozil can carry his international form over to his club form. The 28-year-old has been heavily criticised for his performances against Stoke City and Liverpool.
The north London-based club will be hoping to return to winning ways when they take on an out-of-form Bournemouth.
The game will be played at the Emirates stadium on September 9.
