Liverpool youngster Samed Yesil was unable to prevent Liverpool U21 losing 1-0 against Chelsea U21 at Langtree park.
The game looked destined for a goalless draw going into the 90th minute but Abraham scored in the third minute of added on time to give the Blues the victory.
Yesil was brought on in the 82nd minute to add additional firepower up front but was not able to add to his goal tally.
The 21-year-old scored three goals in his last two appearances for Liverpool U21’s during pre-season and hopes to break into the senior team this season.
Yesil was born in Germany into a Turkish family like fellow Liverpool teammate Emre Can. Both Can and Yesil can represent both Germany or Turkey at senior international level.
