Germany international playmaker Mesut Ozil is close to commuting his long-term future to Arsenal according to the Sun.
Per-the-source, it could be good news for Arsenal fans in the near future as the Gunners held further discussions over a new deal during the international break.
The report goes onto state that Arsenal are prepared to make Ozil their highest-paid player with a new £200,000-a-week deal.
Meanwhile, the Express states that Manchester United have shown an interest in the Germany international. United boss Jose Mourinho brought Ozil to Real Madrid from Werder Bremen and is a long-term admirer of Ozil.
The former Real Madrid man has been in incredible form for Arsenal so far this season with seven goals and providing four assists in 14 appearances in all competitions to help lead the north London based club to a strong start to the campaign.
Arsenal take on Manchester United in their next Premier League fixture on November 19.
