Arsenal beat Aston Villa 4-0 at the Emirates in their final Premier League game of the season.
Olivier Giroud stole the limelight bagging a hat-trick but Mesut Ozil also put on a stellar performance adding to his assist tally.
Ozil setup Giroud for his second goal in the second half providing his 19th assist of the season.
The World Cup winner could easily have setup another to match Arsenal legend Thierry Henry’s Premier League record of 19 assists in a single season had it not been for his teammates profligacy.
Ozil did however, great another record. The Germany international of Turkish origin setup four goal scoring chances for the Gunners to shatter the Premier League record.
The Arsenal star create 146 chances in total this season which is more than any other Premier League player since the 2003-04 season.
Despite having created more chances than any other player in the league Arsenal scored the fewest goals in the top four this season.
