Barcelona want to sell £26m star to Arsenal but North London club want to negotiate better deal

Barcelona are keen on selling Arda Turan over the summer transfer window according to reports in Spain.

Mundo Deportivo report that the La Liga outfit are intent on selling Turan but they are struggling to find a club he would join.

Per the source, the Turkish international is making things difficult for Barca as he has three-years left on his contract and is under no obligation to leave.

Barcelona wanted to sell Turan to China but it looks like that deal is off the cards.

Additionally Turan’s agent Ahmet Bulut has already told Turkish-Football that under no circumstances will his client be moving to China or Turkey over the summer.

Inter were closely linked with Turan but the Mundo Deportivo article claims that interest has cooled.

Arsenal are currently the most realistic option and Barca are keen on selling him to the North London club.

The Gunners do however, want to negotiate a better deal than the £26 million [€30m] being requested by the La Liga giants.

Additionally Arsenal do not want to use Hector Bellerin as a bargaining chip.

The report claims that Barcelona are also interested in Bellerin and that a deal could involve the full-back.

In a further development super-agent Jorge Mendes held three-hour long talks with Barcelona over the futures of several players including Turan.

Bulut is Turan’s agent however, he works closely with Mendes.
