Beşiktaş deny Tottenham & Man Utd bids for Töre [divider]

Beşiktaş have released a statement denying rumours that Gökhan Töre has been sold.

Reports from the Turkish press claimed that Töre had reached an agreement with another club suspected to be Tottenham or Manchester United.

The statement read: “These rumours are false, we have no interest in selling any players right now.”

Tottenham were considering a €12 million bid for the Beşiktaş over the transfer window according to Akşam.

Manchester United have also been keeping tabs on the Turkish international according to the Express.

Töre first made a name for himself rising through the ranks of the Chelsea academy.
The pacy winger was recruited by Frank Arneson who later took Töre with him to HSV Hamburg in Germany.
The Turkish international later Rubin Kazan before joining Beşiktaş on loan.
Töre joined the Black Eagles from Kazan for £4 million this summer and has four-years left on his contract.

The 23-year-old had six goals and nine assists in all competitions for the Black Eagles this season.
