Beşiktaş have received more red cards than any other team in the Süper Lig this season – 9.

Pedro Franco became the latest Black Eagles player to get sent off. The Colombian international was shown a red card for bringing down the last man against Gençlerbirliği.

Beşiktaş won the game 2-0 and kept their record as the leagues best performing away side but also added to their record as having the leagues worst disciplinary record.

The Black Eagles have had nine players sent off over the last three months.

Gökhan Töre, Olcay Şahan, Ismail Koybaşı, Veli Kavlak, Mustafa Pektemek have all received one red card while Pedro and Atiba Hutchinson have two each.

Beşiktaş have had eight players sent off in the Süper Lig and one in the UEFA Europa League.

Franco is expected to miss one game as a result of his latest sending off.

The Black Eagles are currently in second place in the Süper Lig, just one point behind league leaders Fenerbahçe.
