Beşiktaş on the verge of completing Tolgay Arslan transfer

Besiktas look set to beat Trabzonspor in the race to sign Tolgay Arslan.

According to the Turkish newspaper Bugun, Besiktas have agreed a two and a half year contract with Tolgay and are now in negotiations with HSV over the transfer fee.

The report goes onto say HSV have set €1 million valuation on Tolgay, whose contract expires at the end of the season.

Besiktas want to pay a fee in the region of €600,000.

Tolgay’s contract with Hamburg runs out at the end of the season and he will be enter to enter direct talks with other clubs if he does not renew his current deal.

Arsenal as well as Besiktas, Lazio, Napoli and Galatasaray have all been closely linked with the hard working midfielder.

The Germany and Turkey U20 international moved to Hamburg from Dortmund in 2009 on a free transfer.
