Chelsea boss Conte plots £22m bid for Brazilian full-back amid fears that Paris Saint-Germain will attempt to hijack Alex Sandro deal

Chelsea are plotting a move for Porto full-back Alex Telles according to the Sun.

Per the source, Blues boss Antonio Conte has approached the Portuguese giants regarding Telles, informing them they are prepared to offer £22 million.

The Premier League champions are reported to be preparing for an alternative amid rumours that PSG could hijack the Blues move for Alex Sandro.

Telles has three-years of European football behind him but has a lot of experience at top-tier sides in different leagues.

The Brazilian full-back first moved to Galatasaray, in Europe. The 24-year-old joined from Gremio on a £5.2 million [Transfermarkt] deal.

The Brazilian had two goals and four assists in 60 appearances in all competitions for the Lions.

Telles joined Inter Milan the next season, followed by a move to Porto.

Telles had an impressive season at Porto scoring once and providing an impressive 10 assists.

The full-back is however, under contract with the Portuguese outfit until 2021.
