Euro Giants President calls out Chelsea ahead of UEFA Champions League draw

Besiktas President Fiket Orman has predicted that the Black Eagles will draw Chelsea in the next round of the UEFA Champions League.

Chelsea slipped into second place in their group on Tuesday night after they were helf to a 1-1 draw by Atletico Madrid. The result allowed AS Roma to leapfrog the Blues and qualify as group leaders.

The Champions League Last 16 draw takes place at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon on Monday. Chelsea will only be able to draw three sides in the next round, Besiktas, Barcelona or PSG.

Speaking to NTV Spor, Besiktas President Fikret Orman stated that while he has no preference for the next round, he does predict a match up with Chelsea.

“I have no preference for the next round but Chelsea is our most likely opponent,” Orman told NTV Spor.

Besiktas will be confident whomever they draw in the next round after qualifying with an unbeaten record. The Black Eagles even defeated RB Leipzig in Germany with their B team on Wednesday night.

Chelsea suffered a defeat at the hands of Besiktas in Istanbul the last time the two sides faced up.
