Fenerbahçe have set a €10 million asking price for Nigerian international striker Emmanuel Emenike.

The 28-year-old striker recently fell out with Fenerbahçe fans following the Istanbul derby against Beşiktaş.

Emenike was heavily criticised for his reaction to being booed by Fenerbahçe fans on the weekend.

The Nigerian international was heckled by his own supporters in the derby against the Black Eagles.

The 28-year-old striker removed his shirt and abandoned the game in protest but later returned to the playing field.

Emenike was given a leave of absence following the events but has since returned to Turkey.

Tottenham have been linked with Emenike recently and football agent Erdem Konyar confirmed that Spurs were interested in the summer.

“I personally have not entered talks with Tottenham yet,” Konyar told Radyospor.

“However, if Fenerbahçe give us permission we could enter negotiations.”

The Nigerian international has just four goals for the Yellow Canaries this season.

Emenike joined Fenerbahçe last summer from Spartak Moscow for €13 million, and scored 12 goals as well as providing 9 assists on his return to the club.
