Galatasaray have denied holding talks with the Turkish national team manager Fatih Terim over the vacant managerial job.

The Istanbul based club released a statement on their official website which reads.

“Reports have surfaced today in the media which state that we have held talks with Fatih Terim. We have not held any talks with the Turkish national team manager Fatih Terim.”

Galatasaray have been on the hunt for a new manager since firing Cesare Prandelli yesterday.

Prandelli fell out of favour with both the club and its supports following a string of disappointing performances and heavy defeats.

Hamza Hamzaoğlu, Hikmet Karaman and Tugay Kerimoglu have been linked with the vacant Galatasaray job.

Galatasaray are currently in third place in the Super League with 19 points from 10 games.
