Gaziantepspor sign Joao Vitor from Criciuma

Gaziantepspor have signed João Vitor Lima Gomes from the Brazilian side Criciuma according to Anadolu Agency.
The Falcons have agreed to loan the 26-year-old until the end of the season with the option to buy. The financial details on the transfer are yet to be disclosed.
Vitor will become Gaziantepspor’s second transfer during the January transfer window following the signing of the Sweden U21 international Ferhad Ayaz earlier this month.

The 26-year-old Brazilian was born in Alagoas, Brazil and plays in the defensive midfield position. Gaziantepspor manager Okan Buruk has made a number of changes to his squad in January after parting company with Ibrahim Akin and Carlos Costly.
Vitor has previously played for Club Deportivo Maldonado and Palmeiras. The 26-year-old’s contract with Criciuma expires at the the end of the season.
Gaziantepspor currently find themselves in 10th place with 21 points from 16 games.
