“He [Salah] can always score. He’s quick, creating chances, he’s a brilliant player and a brilliant signing for us and he did a very good job,” Can told reporters after his sides win over Maribor

“But I think you can’t pick today, everybody did well, everybody played good and that’s the way we have to go.”

Salah scored his eighth goal of the season on Tuesday and registered his third assist, the Egypt international is currently Liverpool’s top goalscorer.

Both Can and Salah are available for selection when Liverpool take on title rivals Tottenham on Sunday, October 22 at Wembley Stadium.

Salah made the move to Liverpool from Roma over the summer for £34 million (BBC).

Can’s long-term future at Liverpool is still cast in doubt. The 24-year-old has under nine months remaining on his contract with the Merseyside based club.
