Former Norwegian international and Bundesliga expert Jan Aage Fjortoft has stated that Gündoğan is likely to join Manchester United this summer.
The Norwegian pundit was asked on Twitter whether rumours linking Tomas Muller to United had any truth to them, Fjortoft responded by saying, “think Man UTD course be very active in German market soon, but Müller won’t happen. Hummels/Gündoğan more likely”

Gündoğan, who has been linked with a €30 million move to Manchester United from Borussia Dortmund by the newspaper Metro, played a staring role in his sides 2-0 victory over Hertha Berlin last week.
The 24-year-old made the highest number of passes for his side at 76, two of which were successful key passes. The Germany international maintained a passing accuracy of 89.5% .
Dortmund sit in 9th place in the League with 40 points from 31 games. The Bundesliga Giants no longer have a chance of participating in the UEFA Champions League next season.
