Konyaspor did not deserve to lose says Baydar [divider]
Konyaspor did not deserve to lose 2-1 against Beşiktaş according to club press officer Ahmet Baydar.
“We played one of our best games of the season,” Baydar said.
“The boys did everything to try and win but we were just lacking quality with our finishing.
“The only thing missing from our performance was goals.”
Baydar also praised the fans who turned out to support Konyaspor at the Torku Konya Arena.
“We played in front of 38,000 fans, we deserved to give them something to cheer about for their fantastic support,” Baydar said.
“I do not want to get into the refereeing decisions, everybody can see what a fiasco they cause each week with these scandalous decisions.
“Everybody knows he messed up with the Djalma incident but now we have to move on.”
